       2. Deglaze pot with 1 cup dry white wine. Sprinkle contents of packet over meat, add chunked tomatoes, and 1 cup milk. Optional- add 1 lb penne pasta but make sure the pasta is submerged completely.

      3. Cover, make sure vent is closed and cook on high pressure 4 minutes. Natural release 5 minutes then quick release. Optional- If cooking pasta separately, add pasta to the pot after released and stir to combine.

      Slow Cooker Directions:

        1. Turn Slow Cooker on, high. When it is heated put EVOO & butter in pot. Chop onion and saute around 5 minutes or until translucent. Add ground meat & salt (optional) and stir breaking it into crumbles until browned.

         2. Deglaze pot with 1 cup dry white wine. Sprinkle contents of packet over meat, add chunked tomatoes, and 1 cup milk. Optional- add 1 lb penne pasta but make sure the pasta is submerged completely.

        3. Cover. To keep pasta from becoming mushy in the crock pot, be sure to check for doneness periodically and serve once they are tender. It takes slow cooker pasta 3 to 4 hours on low or 1 to 2 hours on high. Check pasta doneness sooner than later, especially as some slow cookers are more powerful than others. Optional- If cooking pasta separately, add pasta to the pot after released and stir to combine.

        4. Serve with freshly grated Parmigiano- Reggiano cheese.
